The Self Build, Extend & Renovate Show

EBL launched the SIGNA Bathroom Pod at the Self Build Show in the King's Hall, Belfast and had tremendous interest in the product with enquiries from home owners, developers, apartment owners and builders. The pod concept intrigued everyone and several orders were taken. Several customers said we were the most innovative product at the show.

Better by design

The design concept of the SIGNA Modular Bathroom Pod gives full 3 - function en-suite facilities and the “Tardis” effect takes up very little space in the bedroom. Using Composite Construction enabled us to take advantage of the 3-dimensional properties of G.R.P (Fibreglass).

The unit is designed to pass through a standard door and be easily assembled using unskilled labour. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics are all that is required.

Cleaning is simple as G.R.P.(Fibreglass) has a high gloss finish and you can shower down the interior of the unit.

Battens are fitted to the to the outside of the mouldings for the installation of dry wall sheeting and all connections for pipework is in situ. The electrical work is simply connecting up the supply to the low voltage ceiling light and outside switch which is also connected to the extractor fan.

Delivered to site dry-assembled the pod is then disassembled, carried into the bedroom, and re-assembled in its final position.

The Pod can be adopted to take a Saniflo unit.

The Signa Pod has a high quality finish as it is Factory produced – this quality could not be replicated on a building site. All pods are made to a 2.2m height.
